Play Def Jam: Fight for NY natively on your PC, built from your own copy of the game, and take the fight online: rooms, Quick Match, King of the Hill and voice chat, right in the game's main menu.
The installer holds no game files: it builds the game from your own dump. It is unsigned, so Windows may warn: choose More info, then Run anyway.
What you get
Choose ONLINE on the game's own main menu. Quick Match drops you straight into a fight; or browse the open rooms, open your own, or join a friend by code.
One on One, 3-Way and Free for All with up to four players, CPU fighters in the free places. Pick from the roster, ready up, then the room votes on the venue.
Up to ten players in one room. Two fight, the rest watch and wait in line. The winner stays on; the loser goes to the back.
Talk in rooms and fights: push-to-talk on the keyboard or the controller, an open microphone, or off, with a volume for every player.
Sign in with Discord for your record, main fighter, last fights and the leaderboard. Ranked matches with a rating are on the way.
Fights run in lockstep with an input delay set from your pings. Switch on rollback (beta) in the launcher; it is used when everyone in the match has it on.
Up to four times the console's resolution, windowed or borderless, and optional HD textures generated on your PC from your own dump.
Xbox, DualSense, Switch Pro and most other gamepads, keyboard and mouse, rumble and remapping, up to four players on one PC.
Screens
The original Xbox game is translated into C and compiled on your own machine, so menus, Story mode and fights run natively at 60 frames per second, with sound, drawn through Direct3D 11.

Choose your own dump of the USA Xbox version, a disc image or an extracted folder. Setup checks it first. How to dump your disc
Setup translates and compiles the game locally, then the launcher opens. Press PLAY, choose ONLINE. Updates arrive through the launcher, signed.
No game files are distributed, ever. PS2 and GameCube copies cannot be used. Online play is Windows only for now.
